Hafızası olmayan sibernetik bir suikastçı olan Casshern, Harabe olarak bilinen bir vebanın yoluna çıkan her şeyi moloz haline getirdiği bir çorak arazide uyanır. Hem robotlar hem de insanlar, bu dünya için son umudu öldürmede oynadığı rol için Casshern'den intikam almak istiyor. Ama şimdi, tanımadığı bir gelecekte kaybolmuş, öldürmek için yapılmış bir makine, ölmekte olanları kurtarmak için savaşacaktır.
