Everyone celebrates Tonho and Lúcia/Alika's engagement. Mirinho kisses Virgínia while thinking of Lúcia/Alika. Omar arrives at Alika and Tonho's party, surprising everyone. Januário dances with Ana Maria. Manoel harbors resentment toward Mirinho. Virgínia questions Mirinho about Lúcia/Alika. Omar is upset to discover that Alika is engaged to Tonho. Alika has a heart-to-heart conversation with Omar.
