An elderly man is found dead alone in his apartment, and what first appears to be a natural death takes a darker turn when investigators discover a note reading, "I won't forgive you." As the MEJ team uncovers old injuries that fail to explain his death, a subtle inconsistency at the scene begins to reveal the lonely life he led before his final days. Meanwhile, Masumi visits a detainee whose connection to an unresolved case may hold the key to another hidden truth.
