Ferris, unworthy to preserve the family bloodline, was abused as a child four years ago, but Lucile retaliated by murdering their parents. Sion asks Ryner to accompany him to Estabul, but Ryner declines the offer. While visiting Arua and Kuku at the Eris residence, he senses a bad vibe coming from the family dojo. There Ryner, showing concern for Ferris, chances upon Lucile, to which then sparks a confrontation.
