Ai Weiwei

Architectural designer, visual artist, and painter Ai Weiwei, who was imprisoned and banned from leaving China for four years, recalled that, as a child, he helped his father burn several books out of fear of the local government during the Cultural Revolution. The artist is inaugurating, in São Paulo, the largest exhibition ever held on his work, curated by Marcello Dantas.
