Daksh is delighted on learning about Sati's devotion in Lord Vishnu. Sati decides to immerse the Shivling. Tarakasur boasts of his power and learns from Narad that Mahadev is going to renounce his reclusive life. He vows to ruin Mahadev and Sati's upcoming marriage and is determined to kill Sati.
