Ning Que and Sang Sang are on the run from a ruthless attack on the general's regime, seeking refuge in Du City. While in Du City, they learn about Sang Sang's true identity as the reincarnation of a prophesied being, and they face threats from sinister forces trying to seize her power. As a result, Ning Que becomes her protector, ensuring she remains safe from harm. Additionally, the episode likely involves more complex political intrigue and escalating conflicts within the Tang kingdom, as warlords encroach on their lands and the threat of war looms.
