Facing low poll ratings ahead of the US midterm elections, Donald Trump has struck a deal with Vladimir Putin to buy Russian diesel in an effort to lower fuel prices, which have surged due to the war with Iran that Trump himself launched. However, the initial shipment is too small to significantly affect prices at the pump.
