Lesbians Olé — Plot

A group of approximately 30 lesbians take a holiday in Sitges, Spain, enjoying sun, sea, and social life along the Mediterranean coast. The documentary captures their days at the beach, nights out in bars and clubs, and moments of conversation, laughter, and friendship. Through candid footage, it presents a snapshot of lesbian travel culture and community in the early 2000s, highlighting camaraderie, leisure, and personal freedom. The film emphasizes group dynamics, playful interactions, and the joy of gathering in a warm, scenic location. Rather than focusing on activism or personal struggle, it celebrates visibility, connection, and the pleasures of shared experiences. Sitges itself becomes a character, providing a vibrant backdrop that frames the holiday and social rituals.
