Nuevo sur

A hero of the past. A fight for the future.

Nuevo sur — Plot

In the twilight of the 1800s, Argentina is a nation undergoing rapid, unforgiving modernization. Macedonio Alvarado, a legendary founding father now in his twilight years, faces his most deeply personal battle yet. Advanced in age but unyielding in spirit, he refuses to let his history be paved over by corporate greed. With his fading strength and whatever influence he has left, Macedonio stands alone against the crushing gears of privatization to save the one sanctuary that holds his heart: his childhood pulpería. It is a poignant, high-stakes drama about legacy, memory, and the fight to preserve the soul of a nation against the relentless march of progress.
