Beatriz Sousa Dias

Biography

She is a 26-year-old Portuguese filmmaker who has experience in directing, screenwriting, and editing both fiction and documentary short films. Her professional path has been deeply rooted in film editing and in shaping meaning through images. So far, her professional experience has focused primarily on short-form storytelling, with the exception of three feature films on which she worked as an assistant editor, exploring hybrid forms between fiction and non-fiction. She also worked in the technical department of a Portuguese film festival.
