Biography

Cássio Garayalde is a Brazilian filmmaker born in Caxias do Sul. After completing his IB in Film and Theatre in Uruguay, he moved to Buenos Aires to study Film Directing at Universidad del Cine. He has directed several short films, including "En 5 Estoy" (2022; winner of best cinematography at 48 Hours Film Festival), "Alkiller" (2023), "Chico Chico" (2024) and "Santiago" (2026)
