Hieronim Neumann

Biography

Director, screenwriter, filmmaker, visual artist, and educator. Full professor. Lecturer at the Academies of Fine Arts in Poznań and Warsaw. He primarily creates original animated films using cutout, composite, and computer techniques. His artistic explorations are inspired by the films of Zbigniew Rybczyński. However, he employs his own, original approaches in his work. Winner of numerous awards and distinctions at international and national festivals. Awarded the Silver Gloria Artis Medal by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2008). Member of the Polish Filmmakers Association.
